Terms of use

Effective 1 October 2026 · Version 1.1
Deployment notice

The operator must set its full legal name, postal address, and monitored email before public launch. These Terms are not launch-ready while those details are missing.

1. Who provides Myssle

These Terms form an agreement between you and Myssle, the operator of Myssle. The operator's address is not configured. Questions about these Terms can be sent to Service contact not configured.

2. Eligibility and accepting these Terms

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. By creating an account or using an authenticated Myssle workspace, you agree to these Terms. If you use Myssle on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

The Privacy notice explains how personal data is handled. It is information about processing, not part of a bundled consent request.

3. Your account

Provide accurate registration information, keep your sign-in details confidential, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise.

One person should not use another person's account. We may require reasonable verification before restoring access, responding to a rights request, or handling a security concern.

4. The service

Myssle provides tools for organising subjects, schedules, tasks, tests, study materials, focus sessions, and private study-team snapshots. Imported team content becomes an independent copy in the recipient's personal workspace; it is not a synchronised shared document.

The service is offered in beta. Features may be added, changed, interrupted, or removed. We will try to give reasonable notice when a material change affects normal use, but urgent maintenance or security work may happen without notice.

5. Your content and sharing choices

You retain ownership of content you enter. You give the operator a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to follow your sharing instructions.

You control whether you expose a public calendar link or share a snapshot with a private study team. Before sharing, make sure the content is accurate, lawful, and does not disclose confidential information or personal data you have no right to share. Public links may be copied by other people.

Deleting or changing a shared offer does not remove independent copies that another student already imported.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse Myssle. In particular, do not:

  • break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or share confidential school records without authority;
  • upload malware, probe or bypass security controls, disrupt the service, or access another person's data without permission;
  • automate high-volume requests, scrape the service, reverse engineer protected parts, or resell access except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • impersonate another person, mislead users about the source of shared content, or use the service to harass or harm others.

We may remove unlawful or harmful content and may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

7. Third-party services

Myssle relies on service providers and may link to third-party websites. The optional YouTube player is provided by Google/YouTube and remains blocked until you allow external media and connect content. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices; Myssle does not control their content or availability.

8. Intellectual property

Except for your content and third-party materials, the service, brand, interface, and software are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Myssle for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership.

9. Availability, warranties, and liability

Myssle is a planning aid, not an official academic record, deadline authority, or substitute for information from your school. Verify important dates, requirements, rooms, grades, and submissions with the relevant institution.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the beta service is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

Subject to those mandatory protections, the operator is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, lost academic work caused by information you entered incorrectly, or third-party services outside the operator's control. Keep separate backups of important materials.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using Myssle at any time and can export data or request account deletion from Settings. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the service. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export data.

Terms that by their nature should continue—such as ownership, licences needed to complete deletion or backups, disclaimers, and liability limits—survive termination to the extent lawful.

11. Changes and applicable law

We may update these Terms to reflect service, security, legal, or operational changes. Material changes will be presented in the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after the stated effective date means the updated Terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using the service and delete your account.

Mandatory consumer protections and the courts available to you under applicable law are not limited by these Terms. Any other dispute is governed by the law applicable to the operator identified above, without overriding mandatory rules that protect you.

12. Contact

Questions, notices, or complaints about the service can be sent to Service contact not configured or by post to the operator address that must be configured before launch.
