Subjects

How do I add my first subject?

Open Subjects in your workspace and choose Add subject. Enter the course details, then choose Save subject. You can also include a timetable, course websites, and links to learning materials in the same form.

Where can I keep course links and materials?

Add or edit a subject and enable its websites or learning materials section. Give each link a title and URL, then save. Expand the subject in your list to open its resources whenever you need them.

How do I add lectures to a subject?

In the subject form, add a schedule entry with its day, start and end time, and room. Add more entries for other lectures or classes. Once saved, these entries also appear in Schedule.

Can I create a subject from a description?

Yes. Turn on Show quick add in Settings, open Add subject, and use Describe your subject. Include details such as the name, code, credits, teacher, and class times. Check the filled form and make any changes before saving.

How do I update a subject’s details?

Find the subject in Subjects and choose its Edit action. Update the course details, timetable, websites, or material links, then choose Update subject. Your changes apply to your personal subject; copies classmates previously added from a team stay independent.

Schedule & calendar

Where can I see my class timetable?

Open Schedule in the workspace. Switch between the day and week views and use the date controls to move through your timetable. Class entries come from the schedules saved in your subjects.

Can I import my university calendar?

In Schedule, choose Import calendar and select an .ics file exported from your university calendar. Myssle creates subjects or matches existing ones by name and adds their class times. Review the imported subjects afterward, especially their names, credits, and class details.

Why are some imported classes missing?

Calendar import needs weekday classes with a title, start time, and end time. Check that your .ics file includes those fields. Existing matching schedule entries are skipped to avoid duplicates. You can add or correct class times manually by editing the subject.

How do I share my timetable with someone?

Open Settings → Share calendar and turn on Share my calendar. Copy the public link and send it to the people you choose. They can view your timetable without signing in. Turn sharing off in the same place to make the link unavailable.

How do I change a class time or room?

Go to Subjects and edit the subject that owns the class. Change its schedule entry and save the subject. Schedule uses those entries, so the updated time or room will appear there too.

Tasks & tests

How do I create and organize a task?

Open Tasks and choose New task. Add a title, due date, priority, and progress status. Linking a subject is optional. Save the task, then use its progress control to move it between To do, In progress, and Done as you work.

How do I keep track of an upcoming test?

Open Tests and add a test with its title, date and time, duration, total marks, and type. You can also include its subject, room, and a description. Use the test’s Edit action if the details change.

How does quick add work?

Enable Show quick add in Settings, then open Quick add in your workspace. Describe a subject, task, or test in your own words, or paste the relevant announcement. Myssle prepares the details and asks for missing information. Review the result and confirm the add before it is saved.

Can tasks and tests repeat?

Yes. Use the repeat options when creating or editing a task or test. Choose the repeat interval and the days or end conditions offered by the form. When you complete a repeating item, Myssle keeps the completed occurrence in your history and prepares the next one.

Where can I find work I already completed?

Completed tasks appear in Done. Tests also have a completed section. Completing work keeps a record of it, including completed occurrences of repeating items. Deleting an item is a separate action, so mark it complete when you want to keep its history.

Study teams

How do I create or join a study team?

Open Teams and choose Create team to start a private group, then share its invite code with classmates. To join an existing team, choose Join with code, enter the code, choose Check code, and confirm with Join team.

What can I share with my classmates?

You can share subjects, tasks, and tests that already exist in your personal workspace. Use the item’s team-sharing control to offer a copy in a team library. A complete subject can include its timetable, websites, and learning materials. Shared tasks and tests belong to a shared subject.

How do I add something from the Team Library?

Open your team’s Library and choose Add to Myssle on a subject. Add or map that subject first, then use Add for its tasks and tests. Each item becomes a personal copy that you can organize and edit in your own workspace.

Will my edits change a classmate’s work?

No. Team items are reusable snapshots. When someone adds one, it becomes an independent personal copy. Changes to your progress or priorities do not change theirs. Editing or removing a library offer also leaves copies that members already added unchanged.

Can new team tasks and tests be added automatically?

After adding or mapping a shared subject, use its automatic-add settings in the Team Library. Tasks and tests are controlled separately for each subject. This adds new shared items as personal copies; it does not keep existing copies synchronized.

Focus & study sessions

How do I start a focused study session?

Open Focus in your workspace. Set your focus and break durations, then start the Pomodoro timer. Work during the focus interval and take a break when it finishes. You can pause or reset the timer using its controls.

Can I change my focus and break durations?

Yes. Use the plus and minus controls under Timer Settings to adjust Focus Duration and Break Duration before starting a session. These controls are disabled while a timer is active; reset it before changing the durations.

Where can I see my study progress?

Focus shows Today’s Progress with your focus time, break time, and session count. Use Focus History to review saved study activity from earlier days.

How do I use study music?

Open the playlist player in Focus to choose study music. External media may need your permission before it loads. You can change that permission later through Privacy choices in Settings. Playback controls remain available while you move around the workspace.

Account & settings

I forgot my password. How do I sign in?

On the login page, choose Forgot password?, enter your account email, and request a reset link. Open the email and follow the link to set a new password. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder and make sure you used the email connected to Myssle.

Reset your password
How do I update my profile or switch to dark mode?

Select your account at the bottom of the workspace sidebar to open Settings. Edit your profile information there. To switch between light and dark appearances, use Dark mode in the sidebar.

How do I enable or turn off browser notifications?

Open Settings → Privacy and your data and choose Enable browser notifications. Allow the request in your browser. You can disable them in Settings at any time. If permission was blocked, change the site’s notification permission in your browser settings before trying again.

Can I download a copy of my data?

Yes. Open Settings → Privacy and your data and choose Export my data. Myssle downloads a machine-readable JSON copy of your account and study data. Keep the file somewhere private, as it contains your personal information.

How do I delete my study data or my account?

Open Settings → Danger zone → Manage deletion. Choose Delete all study data to clear your study records, or Delete account to close your account. Read the confirmation carefully: these actions permanently remove data. Export a copy first if you want to keep it.
